Dr. McLane’s Education/BackgroundBachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Religion (Cornell College, 1988 - 1992) Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology (Southern Methodist Univ., 1993 - 1995) Doctor of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology (University of Denver, 1995 - 1999) One-year pre-doctoral internship in Child/Adolescent Clinical Psychology and Child/Adolescent Neuropsychology: University of Minnesota Medical School (1998 – 1999) Two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Child/Adolescent Neuropsychology: Brown University School of Medicine (1999 – 2001) After completing his post-doctoral fellowship at Brown Medical School in 2001, Dr. McLane returned to Dallas, his hometown, and joined the staff of the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children where he evaluated children for a wide range of learning difficulties. In 2003, he was hired as a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. McLane has been in full-time private practice since 2004. |
